New Zealand’s politicians are some of the most accessible in the world. I am often talking to people when out and about in Tauranga, and I receive plenty of feedback and opinions via social media. Anyone who wishes to can call or walk into my electorate office to talk to one of my staff and get an appointment if required.

An essential part of democracy is politicians’ accountability to the people they represent – their constituents - and their ability to engage in the political process.

With this in mind, on 15 April I will be holding a “People’s Question Time” for Tauranga residents at Tauranga Boys’ College. This is a chance for you to put any questions you have to me, or just to let me know what you think about local or national issues.

I am always working hard to represent and advocate for the people of Tauranga in Wellington as your Member of Parliament. This meeting will help me do this by giving me the opportunity to hear about the things that you care about and matter to you, and will also let me inform you about my plans and priorities for our city.

Please contact my office on 07 577 0923 or for more information about this event.
